Uku Jürjendal

Uku Jürjendal is an Estonian professional combat sports athlete best known for competing in the heavyweight division of GLORY Kickboxing. Born on February 4, 1989, in Tallinn, Estonia, he is widely known by his nickname, “The Thunder” — a name that reflects the explosive power and intensity he brings into the ring.

Jürjendal rose to international prominence in October 2023 when he shocked the kickboxing world by defeating legendary heavyweight Badr Hari via TKO at GLORY 89. Hari is regarded as one of the most iconic heavyweight kickboxers of all time, and the victory marked a defining moment in Jürjendal’s career. The win also secured his place in the prestigious 2024 GLORY Heavyweight Grand Prix.

Standing 193 cm (6’4”) tall and weighing approximately 114 kg (251 lbs), Jürjendal is renowned for his exceptional punching power, aggressive fighting style, and ability to finish opponents. His performances have earned him a reputation as one of the most dangerous heavyweights in European kickboxing.
